An Interview with Daisy from CARIBBEAN DREAMS OF LOVE by Bess McBride!

Hello all!

Alisha kindly allowed me to stop by today with an interview of the heroine of my latest release, a paranormal called CARIBBEAN DREAMS OF LOVE featuring a lonely women and her precocious teenage daughter on a Caribbean cruise, a mysterious musician, a ghost, a pirate, a legend and a curse.

I’m going to interview Daisy, the heroine of the book.

Bess: So, Daisy... What’s the story about? A Caribbean cruise, your daughter, a mysterious musician, a ghost, a pirate, a legend and a curse.

Daisy: Well, Bess, I can’t tell you the whole story because then you wouldn’t read the book. I can give you a quick blurb about it if you like.

Bess: Please do..

Daisy: Okay! Let’s see: My sixteen-year-old daughter, Lily, and I embarked on a Caribbean cruise. Mind you, I wasn’t looking for anything special on the cruise other than a pleasant break from my humdrum existence as long-time divorced single mother to a busy teenage girl. And I certainly wasn’t prepared to meet an enigmatic man named Peter whose idiosyncrasies in dress and speech marked him as an eccentric person. I tried to avoid him, but I couldn’t. There was something about him. In fact, I started obsessing about him from the first moment I caught him staring at me in cruise ship terminal. Peter remained elusive and mysterious throughout the cruise. I’d catch sight of him occasionally, but never often enough to suit me. One blissful night, he swept me into his arms for a waltz. A waltz, you say? On a Caribbean cruise ship? I know. That’s what I thought, too! While my dinner companions shared nightly tales of the legends of cursed pirates, I dreamed of the mysterious man who captured her heart.

Bess: Good gravy! Daisy! How romantic is that...

Daisy: I know, I know!

Bess: And then....

Bess: But Daisy, give us a hint. Who is this mysterious Peter? Does the story have a happy ending?

Daisy: Bess! You crack me up! Okay. Hmmm....the mysterious Peter. Nope, I can’t tell you who he is, but I will tell you the story does have a happy ending. Though there was a time where I thought we could never be together. I couldn’t even imagine how it would work. Still...love conquers all. And Daisy got her man.

Bess: Daisy! You rat! I hope Lily grows up to be just like you!

Daisy: Sigh... She is, the poor child. The apple did not fall far from this tree.
