My beautiful, strong grandmother is still with us today but my beloved grandfather, Poppy left for heaven October 10, 2001. This book is dedicated to the memory of their love and in memorium of my grandfather. They had a love like no other that transcends beyond death. I hate that my grandfather never read The Wooden Nickel since the 1st Edition was published in 2008 but I feel sure he is watching from above.
